Don't blink or you will miss it

Don't blink, the roof trusses were delivered on Monday and as you can see they have started to put them up, our roof line is a Little strange with a high peak in the middle of the house the lowers towards the front before levelling out, then it flattens out towards the back. (I think best described with a picture, that will be soon). The garage section has also been put up at the back of the house. I think for the first time we might put Cars in the garage! I went to the house today only to find that the builders were driving away because of the rain, it is like if we were to organise a party it would rain, build a house and we will break the drought! It all seems to be running smoothly so far. We did get our first Invoice for the house from Metricon, oohh time to start paying!

our front veranda and our roof trusses have started, amongst all those trusses at the front there is our front door, ply wood has also been added to the frame for more support. Where our electricity box is on the side of the house is where the extension to our bedroom is, if you can remember back in one of the earlier blogs I said that this was an issue with the plans when we were signing the contracts. It was not put on the plans due to planning or something, now that it is there we are so glad that we said we really wanted it or Mel said she really really wanted it.
