Overnight the fairies arrived

As l mentioned in the last blog, word was that things were happening at a fast pace and that we needed to get to our block and check out what was going on. This is what we saw when we got out the car.... and we both said Wow!. We got to the block at 9.40am and the 2 tradies were working hard and as you can tell by the photo a 3rd of the house frame was standing. The slab was all laid in quick time and I didn't even get a daylight photo of the slab alone, I do have some night shots on my phone but they are really dark. It's all happening and we can't wait to see the progression.
While we were there you can see the difference between this photo and the next, a lot more frame work has been nailed together, We went for a walk along the path towards the other end of the street (5 minute walk) and then came back and took this photo, it wasn't until after that we noticed how quick they were making the frame and what they had done. They must have felt Mel's looks at them and they got cracking (which look was that Pat? - l know how to edit this blog Ha!)

Standing at the front of the house you can see the workers have been busy building our house frame, there are 2 workers building with 1 nailing and the other is cutting and sorting the studs getting them ready for his mate. The slab of concrete at the front is our Portico (Veranda) with the front door in the middle.

A scenic look at our house from the Golf course side, the rooms completed so far are 3 bedrooms, laundry, toilet and the bathroom.

A view from the back corner of the block, the slab on the left is the garage and the first room off there is Rylie's room, we are getting extra insulation between the garage and Rylie's room to stop extra noise from the car in the morning
