Photo's Galore

As reported yesterday here are the photo's of the work completed so far at our house, you can see a lot of progress both inside and out. What to expect over the next week, roof finished, cladding started and finished, brickie started, plaster delivered, doors hung to front and laundry doors (almost lockup). I hope to have a photo gallery soon of all our house photo's, there are plenty that we have taken that don't make it here unfortunately, just got to figure it out. Our House has been wrapped in Metricon's blue insulation, this is our rumpus room window then heading down to the en suite window, roof guard stays until the roof is complete. OH&S apparently! Our roof tiles are missing at the front of our house because they were a pallet short, the pallet arrived on Friday and should be installed early in the week, brick pallets have been spread around the house. I was standing almost at our back fence, you can see the roof is complete at the back of the house and the pallets of bricks, the open area is our garage and our roller door will go in the big open area at the left of the photo. The roof pitch is 27Degrees which makes it a very high roof with 9ft ceilings inside. This is a photo of the back of our house, we have 2 sets of french doors leading to the back yard and now the vision is becoming reality. We have an area under the roof line that is around 3mx2m that will give us some shelter, time to think of a pergola to go across the back of the house. MMMMM thoughts! All our bricks have been delivered, the color is as it looks brownish with darker colors mixed through. They are Austral bricks called Hawthorn. We have 18 pallets of bricks and we had 14 pallets of roof tiles including the pallet that they were short. Bayley is looking through the electrical PowerPoint backing brackets (not sure if correct terminology) the electrician must have come through on Friday and placed all our power points and light fittings, First siting of wrong placement of power point in a bedroom, should be alright though. Our heating duct work has been completed ready for the ceiling plaster to be installed, I think the plaster gets delivered next Friday. Well the picture of the baby sitters room has made it to the blog and just so happens to have one of our baby sitters picturing her head on the pillow. Thanks Helen. You can see the green door in the background, that is our laundry door. This is a plug for our builders, So far and touch plenty of wood that all continues to go well. Jarrad and his team of contractors are doing a good job.
